Abstract:
<summary>Medieval wall remains, some probably from the Lady Chapel of the Abbey, and human bones, possibly dating from the Civil War period, were observed during a watching brief. Conditions were difficult as the developer's driver appeared to have no contingency plans for re-routing trenches should sensitive archaeological remains be encountered. The archaeologist had not received notification that this was an option. Recording was hampered by the breaking of operational field drains. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}
