Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during ground disturbance associated with the construction of a new garage, at a site which lay within the settlement of Wall, which had been identified as the Roman town of Letocetum. Extensive evidence of archaeological sites relating to Romano-British military and civic settlement activity had been recorded in the vicinity. During the watching brief, nothing of archaeological significance was identified. [AIP] |
