Abstract:		 A watching brief was kept on 26 April 2016 during the excavation of a 15m-long earth cable trench from a pole on an overhead power line at Morelaggan, near Arrochar. The trench was located some 100m from the pre-Improvement settlement of High Morlaggan (NN20SE 42). Nothing of archaeological significance was encountered in the trench.
