Abstract: |
A test pit examined a 4.4m depth of brickearth overlying gravel. The upper brickearth levels had been redeposited but lower levels were in situ and seem to represent marshy floodplain. Two OSL dates from these lower levels provided dates of 47+/-8 KaBP and 56+/-9 KaBP. |
