Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation consisting of 5 trenches. No archaeological activity that pre-dated the post-medieval period was encountered during the archaeological investigation. Any earlier potential archaeological deposits, features or structures appeared to have been completely truncated by post-medieval and modern development. Natural sandy gravels were found in all trenches and indicated an eastern slope across the site towards the River Thames. |
