Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of a water pipe trench from Enford Farm to a group of water troughs some 850m south west of the farm. Four probable linear features and one probable pit were recorded, all located on a north-facing slope in the western half of the area observed. No finds pre-dating the modern period were recovered from any of the features, some of which may, however, represent field boundaries dating from the prehistoric to medieval periods. |
