Abstract: Border Archaeology undertook this archaeological desk-based assessment on behalf of Bristol Water to determine the nature of the archaeological resource within the vicinity of a proposed replacement water main pipeline, the route of which extends for a distance of approximately 500m from the Almondsbury Reservoir at NGR ST 58875 81145, crossing Highwood Road and extending N through the ASDA Superstore car park before reaching its terminus immediately SE of the M5 motorway at NGR ST 58770 81620.
