Abstract: |
The buildings were photographically recorded prior to redevelopment. Much of the site remains as it was designed in 1850 and mapped in 1853. The pump house has undergone a number of changes from its initial design, with extensions prior to 1879 and 1910. The water tower did not feature in the initial designs for the site but was built at some point between 1853 and 1879 in the gothic style. Probably around 1930, a new substation and lean to were constructed to the rear of the pump house. |
