Abstract: analysis by dendrochronology was undertaken on timbers of the chapter room roof, resulting in the construction and dating of two site sequences and one single sample. Interpretation of the sapwood on these samples suggests felling of all dated timber in the second half of the fourteenth century with construction likely to have occurred shortly after
