Abstract:		 An archaeological strip, map, and sample was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology on land west of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital as part of the creation of a temporary car park on the site. An area approximately 126m x 75m was excavated and produced only two tree holes of present origin. A single sherd of early/middle Saxon pottery was recovered from the topsoil.
