Abstract: |
Six evaluation trenches were excavated to archaeologically evaluate the site in accordance with the West Yorkshire Archaeology Advisory Service Specification. All the trenches showed disturbance and evidence of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century farm, including pits, land drains, walls and services. A short stub of stone wall was found possibly of mid-late nineteenth century date, and two undatedshallow linear features, possibly the remains of Medieval plough furrows. |
