A planning application (for the construction of 205 residential units and associated infrastructure in the western half of the former site of the Britannia Ironworks in Bedford has been submitted to Bedford Borough Council (BBC). The first phase of the evaluation, comprising eleven trial trenches, was undertaken in April 2012 (oasis idalbionar1-123377)A second phase of trial trenching, comprising a further nine trenches, was undertaken in February 2014. |
