Abstract: An archaeological evaluation was carried out by GUARD Archaeology Limited on an area proposed for development at Countesswells, Aberdeen. The trial trench evaluation sampled 7% (10,062 m²) of the total area proposed for development (14,375 ha) which excluded service buffer zones. Investigation was spread over 107 trenches. The work programme revealed no finds or features of archaeological interest except field drainage relating to nineteenth and twentieth century agricultural improvements M Kilpatrick 2015.
