Abstract: |
A scheme of archaeological monitoring and recording took place during the construction of a residential development on the site of the former William Street Business Park in the village of Saxilby in Lincolnshire. This document describes the methodology that was adopted during the monitoring and recording part of the scheme, in order to satisfy a planning condition, and the results obtained. Most of the area had been disturbed by modern activities, resulting in a significant amount of hardcore and demolition material. No archaeologically significant features were identified in the designated area. |
