Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 3.4 hectares of arable land. The survey has identified three parallel prehistoric ditches with a possible related fourth ditch. Ridge and furrow cultivation can also be seen across the south of the site. Three possible archaeological anomalies have been identified; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of modern origin relating to agricultural activity, ferrous objects and fencing. |
