Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken by Terrain Archaeology during development of land behind The Angel Public House, 28 Market Street, Poole (SZ00959057) by Keyestates Ltd. The site was covered by a 1.5 m thick layer of black sandy soil containing post-medieval artefacts. In the centre of the site was a brick-built icewell, probably of 19th century date. |
