Abstract: |
OASouth undertook fieldwork at St Paul's church Hammersmith in January 2009 in advance of a proposed extension. 10% (60.3msquare) of the footprint of construction was excavated to a depth of 4m to ascertain the scale of burials therein. 80 burilas dated to Victorian period (1828-1853) were uncovered and analysed on site and an interim report describing archaeology found, potential for further work and methodologies used prepared. |
