Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken near to previous discoveries of a dugout boat of probable prehistoric date and a Bronze Age sword, as well as medieval Kirkstead Abbey. The evaluation revealed a curving hedgerow or trackway that may be of considerable antiquity, three post-medieval ditches and several undated ditches.
