The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by CFA Archaeology Ltd on land at 12 Bridge Street, Otley, West Yorkshire during September 2014. Five trenches were excavated with river washed pebbles and alluvium being identified. The evaluation confirmed the site had been subject to flood events from the Rive Wharfe, and that as a consequence no archaeological features were present with the exception of a post-medieval/modern pit. Pottery, bone and metal were uncovered from this pit and from a buried soil layer overlying the river wash and alluvium.
