Abstract:		 In July and August 2015, Oxford Archaeology carried out an intermittent Watching Brief in the Front Quad at St. Edmund's Hall, on behalf of Montgomery Architects Ltd. A geophysical survey carried out earlier the same year had identified possible structural remains. The cabling work and replacement of concrete slab paths around the quad did not provide any further evidence for these anomalies. A limestone rubble deposit, or a possible wall, was encountered on the north side of the quad, however the works limited further investigation.
