Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 2.5 hectares of arable farmland. No features of archaeological or agricultural origin have been identified, supporting information from the desk-based assessment of the site having a low potential for archaeological remains. A number of areas of amorphous magnetic variation are likely to be related to the underlying geology of the site, while the remaining features are modern in origin and include a service, disturbance from nearby ferrous objects, and magnetic spikes which are likely to be modern rubbish. |
