Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken on groundworks for a new holiday lodge at Ingrams Farm, Hardham, Pulborough, West Sussex. The work was carried out in accordance with a WSI approved by the archaeological advisor to the South Downs National Park Planning Authority produced to satisfy Planning Condition 7 placed on planning permission. The entire development was within a backfilled quarry probably dig for the now disused railway line next to the Site. A small assemblage of very abraded residual Roman pottery was recovered from the topsoil. |
