Archaeological building survey of Grade II Listed Building 120701 1-33 Trafalgar Square, Sunderland SR1 2BW. Trafalgar Square was built in 1840 as almshouses for merchant seamen and their dependents, and has been in continual use since this date. Report, comprising detailed photographic survey, description, and overview of history, undertaken by North of England Civic Trust as part of listed building consent for works to repair the building and mitigate against issues caused by damp. |
