Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 13.8 hectares of mixed arable and grassland. The survey has identified a prehistoric enclosure, with a possible associated track way, as well as former field boundaries and an area of ridge and furrow cultivation. A number of possible archaeological anomalies have also been identified; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are modern in origin, relating to an underground service, agricultural activity, ferrous objects and fencing. |
