Abstract: |
The archaeological works comprised the excavation and recording of thirteen trenches within the site. All of the trenches were located within a playing field, which was situated on sloping ground. Due to on-site constraints, an area of pasture, located within the site on flat ground to the northeast, was not evaluated. The evaluation has indicated that the area of the playing field is largely devoid of archaeological features or artefacts, with a single undated ditch being the only feature present. The archaeological potential for this area is therefore considered to be low. |
