Abstract:
Watching briefs were kept on 20-22 September and 4-10 October 2016 during trenching for new poles on several high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) overhead power lines on the Isle of Gigha. Some poles on HV lines were changed without excavation and are not listed here. Nothing of archaeological significance was encountered in any of the trenches.
