Abstract: |
A programme of historic building recording was carried out of a Farmhouse and an attached Range of three disused farm outbuildings. This farmstead is not featured on the tithe map for the parish of Holbeach of 1839. It is first shown on the First Edition O.S. map of 1888, which shows a much larger range of outbuildings on the site than at present. So the farmstead is of at least late 19th century origin. By 1974, the Range had been shortened in length by demolition and a new rear extension had been added to the Farmhouse. Later in the 20th century a new outbuilding was added to the western end of the Range. |
