Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in January 2016 by University of Leicester Archaeological Services on behalf of Broughton Hall Fencing on land at Mill Lane, Gilmorton, Leicestershire. The fieldwork was undertaken in advance of proposed residential development. The archaeological evaluation provided limited evidence for medieval archaeological cultivation in the form of plough furrows. No other archaeological evidence was forthcoming.
