Abstract: |
A watching brief was conducted during groundworks associated with the re-landscaping and upgrade of recreation ground facilities. Sample sieving of topsoil was also undertaken for the recovery of prehistoric lithic material. With the exception of post-medieval field ditches and a scatter of material (predominantly pottery, glass) belonging to the 19th-20th centuries, there were no archaeological discoveries of significance. |
