Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on behalf of CgMs Consulting who were acting on behalf of The Planning Bureau at Whittingham House, Worcester Road, Droitwich, Worcestershire (NGR SO 900 632; WSM 33378). The project aimed to determine the exact location, orientation and junction of a modern brine pipe that crossed the property. The pipe was located in four different trenches, establishing its route from east to west and from north to south across the property. In addition to this a junction in the pipe line was located, in the north-west corner of the property. No significant archaeological strata or features were noticed during the course of the trenching. |
