The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A detailed English Heritage Level IV building recording exercise of this historic farmstead was undertaken in 2015. It comprised a late 18th century yeoman farmhouse with attached game larder and stables; a second detached game larder which was later converted to a cottage; a large bank barn dated 1823 with a water powered threshing machine, and other minor buildings. The farmstead was in the possession of the Harrison family from 1696 to 1940, following which it was acquired by the National Trust. The significance of the site relates to the whole ensemble but particularly to the intact bank barn with its threshing machine and water wheel; and the rare survival of the two game larders.
