Abstract: |
This DBA has been researched and prepared by MAS on behalf of Narrative Options Ltd to support a planning proposal (18/01141/FUL). The subject of this DBA (also referred to as the site) is the area occupied by The Holly Bush Restaurant, Upper Bond Street, Hinckley, LE10 1RH. The Holly Bush building is Grade II listed and is a remodelling of an earlier structure undertaken in the 1930s in an Art-Deco style by the architects Heaton and Walker. The report concludes that the construction works would impact upon sub-surface strata/geology and that some level of evaluation and/or monitoring may be appropriate prior to or during the development of the site. The site has been subject to development since the late 18th century and sub-surface remains associated with these earlier structures may be present. |
