Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	A phase of strip map and sample excavation was conducted exposing a 15m by 15m area of the site. This exposed a larger area of the stone deposit uncovered in Trench 2 covering approximately 50% of the area and extending beyond it to the north, south and west. A machine sondage was excavated into the deposit revealing between 0.5m to 1.1m of stone deposits infilling very wet ground which could have been an old roadline or natural hollow.
