Abstract: |
Headland Archaeology conducted an excavation at a proposed mineral extraction area on land at High House Quarry, located east of Overby, Aspatria, Cumbria. The excavation was undertaken in accordance with a planning condition attached to the permission granted by Cumbria County Council. A total of 20 pits, 10 post-holes and 12 linears were excavated with Neolithic pottery recovered from one of the pits. |
