Abstract: |
3 areas of excavation targeted on the results of a previous evaluation. The excavations confirmed the presence of features dating to the late Post-medieval period (18th and 19th centuries) related to former field boundaries (in Area B) and the lime quarries and kilns around Quarry Lane to the north-east of the site (in Area C). A number of natural features consisting of tree throws and a solution pit were also identified during the excavation of all three areas. |
