Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out by the University of Leicester Archaeological Services on behalf of De Montfort University at 7-9 Castle View, LE1 5WH, Leicester on the 4th of June 2018. The site is a Scheduled Monument (Entry 1012147). Scheduled Monument Consent has been granted by the Secretary of State for the Department of Digital, Culture Media and Sport with the provision that archaeological monitoring was undertaking during the groundworks associated with the installation of mains gas supply. No archaeological features or deposits were recorded.
