Abstract: |
A watching brief on a trial pit excavated adjacent to the boundary wall between the Lion and Lamb pub and 10 Precentor's Court was undertaken by York Archaeological Trust in 2018. In 2019, City of York Council have applied to dismantle and re-build a failing boundary wall between the Lamb and Lion public house and the private residence at 10 Precentor's Court, York. This interim report summarises a photogrammetric survey of the north-west facing elevation of the wall that was carried out by York Archaeological Trust on behalf of City of York Council on February 7th 2019. |
