The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation, comprising nineteen 50m x 1.8m trial trenches, was carried out on behalf of Orbit Homes on a large plot of land north of Butt Lane, Woodville, Leicestershire. No archaeological features, deposits or finds were recorded on the site, but it is possible that three hollows recorded in the south-east part of the site may have been small pits associated with the former Blackfordby Mine that was active during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
