Abstract:		 AOC Archaeology Group was commissioned by Ian Dean to carry out an archaeological watching brief on ground-breaking works associated with the installation of a new anaerobic plant at Wester Clockeasy Farm near Urquhart, Elgin. The work was required due to the location of the site near to the former Urquhart Abbey. The stripping of the topsoil and natural sand had already been excavated prior to AOC going on site, with some areas excavated to a depth of 2m. Therefore, only an inspection of the sections and the spoil heap could be examined for archaeological features and none were found to be present.
