Abstract: |
Level 2 building record of an early 1950s concrete water tower prior to demolition. All equipment/machinery had been removed after closure in 2003/4, leaving only the permanent fixtures (steel ladders, pipes). The tank is divided into two parts. Two other structures, a pump room and washroom, relate to an earlier late 19th century brick water tower that apparently burnt down. These were also included in the record. |
