Abstract: |
Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd undertook an archaeological evaluation of land at Cricklewood Broadway, Borough of Barnet, London, between 8th-11th July 2019. The work was commissioned by EDP on behalf of Murphy Group in advance of development at the site. The heritage assets identified comprised the foundations of two structures related to demolished Victorian terraces that would have fronted onto Cricklewood Broadway in addition to modern features. Much of the site had been affected by modern disturbance in the form of large infilled pits, modern services, ground reduction and terracing related to 20th century use of the land. |
