Abstract: |
Terrain Archaeology carried out a programme of archaeological observations and recording during mechanical soil-stripping of approximately 1.6 ha of land, carried out as a prelude to the expansion of existing bulk sand extraction works into Phase 1 of new extension area A, RBMR Brickworth Quarry, Harestock, Whiteparish, Wiltshire. The only archaeologically significant feature revealed during the works was a short length of shallow, undated ditch seen adjacent to the track marking the eastern side of the site. |
