The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Archaeology South-East were commissioned CgMs Consulting to undertake an archaeological watching brief at The House of Detention in the London Borough of Islington between April and August of 2016. The excavation of a basement reduction of 3.50m to a depth of 16.10m AOD, and an external garden reduction of 1.00m to 18.60m AOD were monitored. Made ground deposits were observed to the full excavation ground, no natural deposits were encountered, nor and archaeological features or deposits of any interest.
