Abstract: |
Ground reduction and the excavation of footing trenches and soakaways revealed the presence of pits, post holes and a possible roundhouse gully dating the the early Iron Age (6th to 4th centuries BC). Two sherds of Roman pottery hint at later activity in the vicinity. |
