Abstract:		 In June 2017 KDK Archaeology Ltd undertook a programme of Strip, Map and Sample excavation of Dunstable Leisure Centre, Court Road, Dunstable as condition of planning permission for the development of the site. Previous archaeological investigation undertaken in close proximity to the site had uncovered highly relevant archaeological material; however, Dunstable Leisure Centre did not produce anything of archaeological significance. The site occupied an area formally known as Dunstable park and this investigation had shown that there is no development in this area. Post medieval and Roman pottery had been recovered from a tree throw as well as several fragments of ceramic building material (CBM). No other dating evidence was observed.
