Abstract:		 A programme of historic building recording was conducted to inform the proposed demolition and rebuilding of an extension to the rear of The Cottage, 35 High Street, Osbournby. The recorded extension was 19th century in date, and was thought to have originally functioned as a bake and brew house. The extension had itself been a replacement of an earlier and larger service wing attached to the southern side of the former yeoman house.
