Abstract:
Wessex Archaeology (WA) commissioned by London Gateway Port Ltd. (LGPL) to provide archaeological services in respect of marine works in the course of developing London Gateway Port and its associated dredged channel. Dredging was undertaken by the consortium LOR/DI. As part of this work, This document constitutes a WA archaeological review of a proposed extension to the dredging area. Accordingly, WA reviewed the proposed extension area in conjunction with existing data about the extent of prior survey, analysis and interpretation, and in the light of the provisions of the scheme Maritime Archaeology Methods and Procedures 2008 (MAM&P).
