Abstract: |
Geophysical Survey: Resistance survey of 4.5 hectare Watching Brief: Exposed a number of possible medieval human skeletons in the Grotto Garden, Woburn Abbey, thought to be associated with the earlier Abbey on the site. The site has undergone post-medieval truncation and landscaping associated with the construction of the present house. A number of post-medieval features of services trenching and possible garden features were also observed. |
