Watching brief during trenching for a sewer pipe. A small pit containing 19th-century pottery was identified beneath Low Lane; no other archaeological deposits or features were identified. A single sherd of probable medieval pottery, a small assemblage of modern and post-medieval pottery and one modern animal bone were recovered during the works. |
