Abstract: |
CFA Archaeology Ltd conducted a watching brief during all all ground breaking activities associated with the construction of residential flats. A soakaway and foundations trenches were excavated under constant archaeological supervision. Two short length of robber trenches were identified during the work. The modern finds within the fill of the trenches indicate a relatively recent date for the removal of the walls. Otherwise, no archaeologically significant features or deposits were identified. |
